Not long after, these native North American ginseng were being exported to China. Over the years, due to high demand and heavy havesting, truely wild ginseng has almost become extinct, and the supply of wild-simulated ginseng is low. Right now, in general, North American ginseng available on the market are mostly cultivated ginseng massively produced to meet the market's demand.
